WINE MEDICINE. Sign approx. 62" x 26". Sign is white base with peach borders. Sign showcases a woman in red dress holding wine & kissing the sun. "Vin Mariani" was a Corsican medicine patented in the 1860's using Coca leaves & wine to create cocaine infused wine. Back of sign shows what appears to be recycled door with gold cloth filler. CONDITION: The sign has a fair appearance showing scattered flaking finish with fading colors of an indeterminate age. Back of frame shows ships & wear along with missing gold cloth.
